Pitt and Jolie Agree to Keep Divorce Settlements Undisclosed


Renowned celebrities Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have come to an agreement in which they will be hiring a private judge for the duration of their divorce settlements and proceedings in order to keep the private information undisclosed to the public.

Both celebrities announced that they seek to keep all of the process of the matter confidential so as to secure the rights to privacy that may affect their children along with the rest of their family members.

In the joint statement that had been released it states that “The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.”

In the past several years, the use of private judges within the Unite States have become far more prevalent.

Better Safe than Sorry

The use of private judges are most commonly used by rather rich clients regarding cases that concern family law matters, civil cases, and violations of contracts between individuals.

The advantages to a private judge include the fact that they serve the same purpose as public judges, but instead the private information to the individual remains confidential.

Furthermore, the entire process of the matter is far quicker, and allows for the individual(s) to be able to select their designated judge and are able to pick out the court dates that best align with their own private schedule.

Pitt’s Actions Disapproved of

Jolie had filed for divorce from Pitt on September 19th after an altercation with their 15 year old son Maddox that occurred midflight when he allegedly had hit his son and was abusive, although the investigation that followed into the matter revealed that Pitt had performed no actual wrongdoing of any sort.

The day after the altercation Jolie had filed for the divorce, ending their two year marriage, and their 10 years of being together.
